Well, I saw the latest rendition of Batman at the theater on Thursday night, and I will say that it was a piece of work. I liked it OK, but I am not yet willing to use the word “great” which seems to be casually flung around by most others as the movie’s predominate descriptor. The Hour of Power
Since I have been on my diet I have learned to do without foods that I use to worship. I was once a first-rate chocoholic, and now nothing. I quit cold turkey. I ate one last Almond Joy and never looked back. And do you know what? I don’t really miss it anymore. Sure I went through D.T.s for about a month. I was so desperate for chocolate that a stale chewy butter finger or a rotten malt ball would have been nirvana. I needed chocolate like Matt Jones needs rehab. Well, I still get asked the question if we have recovered from the wedding. And the answer is yes, I think we finally have. We still have wedding stuff in piles in places, but hey, some of it came in handy this past week. We had a four or five hour power failure in Maumelle one evening, and man do we have the candles.
